Take Note!

I made a trip to Target yesterday, or to what many of us call the "100 Dollar Store" since I can never walk out of there with JUST the essentials on my list... This is exactly what happened ~ yet again ~ when I sauntered into the office organization and stationary section of the store... So many treasures!  On this successful trip, I came away with some wonderful notebooks perfect for popping into your handbag, beach bag or keeping next to your bed for jotting down all your "A-HA!" moments, brilliant ideas, passion projects & vacation dreams...

Major Must-Have!

Collared necklaces are my new fashion accessory obsession.  They are perfect touches for basic summer weather outfits as a quirky-cute accent to a simple tank or strapless dress.  I of course found one on a trip to Forever 21, but there are so many more looks out there to choose from.

To Die For Pasta!

OK - this recipe is Ah-MAZING!  One bite and I am totally hooked & I know you will be too.  I bought a bag of this pretty Summer-striped bowtie pasta and went looking for a recipe that would not cover up the design with a heavy sauce (it's all about presentation!).  I also wanted to use pancetta as the protein base (because who doesn't love anything that is in the bacon family) and came across a super simple recipe that called for just a handful of ingredients and about 30 total min. of your time.  Click HERE for all the details ~ MAKE THIS!!

Pink Peonies!

It's time for all of us on the West Coast to get our hands on these beautiful poofs of sweetness!  They are absolutely gorgeous - I mean look at these amateur photos I took!!  Trader Joe's has them stocked by the buckets and for only $6.99 which really is the best deal in town.  It's all about pink and orange combos this summer, so stock up while you can and have a fantastic weekend!
